From Goodreads:

Ketterdam: a bustling hub of international trade where anything can be had for the right price—and no one knows that better than criminal prodigy Kaz Brekker. Kaz is offered a chance at a deadly heist that could make him rich beyond his wildest dreams. But he can’t pull it off alone…
A convict with a thirst for revenge.
A sharpshooter who can’t walk away from a wager.
A runaway with a privileged past.
A spy known as the Wraith.
A Heartrender using her magic to survive the slums.
A thief with a gift for unlikely escapes.
Six dangerous outcasts. One impossible heist. Kaz’s crew is the only thing that might stand between the world and destruction—if they don’t kill each other first.

Why I am waiting:

I loved The Grisha Trilogy and was very disappointed to find that the author had not published any other novels. Then I heard about Six of Crows. I marked it “to read” on Goodreads and tried not to salivate all over my keyboard. Seriously, the cover is gorgeous, the advance reviews are excellent, and it’s written by Leigh Bardugo? Why wouldn’t I wait? I’m not chomping at the bit like I was with Queen of Shadows, but I might be by the 29th.

I apologize for the recent lack of activity. I have been sick. A new review will be up soon. I promise!

Now, what are you waiting on?

  2. I’m starting on it this weekend… so excited! I’ve been holding off on reading it, because I didn’t want to get through it and then have to hold my thoughts to myself for so long. Leigh Bardugo is an amazing author, and the Grisha Trilogy was excellent, so I’m positive this is going to be a fantastic read.
